Manual Plunger

Description: The manual plunger is a tool used for plunge freezing of sample grids in liquid cryogen (liquid ethane or liquid ethane/propane mixture). Unlike the TFS Vitrobot automated plunging freezing tool, all operations including sample blotting and initiation of the plunging action are manual and directly controlled by the user. Training is available upon request.
